1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. Contest begins January 1, 2009, and ends July 17, 2009, (“Contest Period”). Open only to school, amateur, community and/or nonprofit affiliated (i.e., AAU, JCC, Boys & Girls Club, PAL, YMCA, YWCA, Girls Inc., Girl Scouts, etc.) teams whose members are female and enrolled in 9th-12th grade at the time of entry and residents of the United States, its territories or protectorates. Children of employees, officers and directors of the Women’s Sports Foundation, The Gatorade Company and any of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion or production agencies and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members (spouse, siblings) and individuals residing in their same household, are not eligible. By participating, entrant and/or entrant’s parent/legal guardian agree to these Official Rules and the decisions of the independent judging agency, which are final and binding. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be returned.

2. HOW TO ENTER: 1) Sign up your team as Ambassadors at www.GoGirlWorld.org/Ambassador. If you do not have Internet access, we will sign up the team for you. 2) Complete the Official Entry Form in print OR online at www.GoGirlWorld.org/Ambassador. 3) Tell us about your team project by answering the questions found on page 1. Responses can be submitted online or via mail; they must be typed or hand-printed clearly. If mailing, submit TWO clear copies of both the entry form AND responses to the 3 questions found on page 1. Photos/VHS/DVD/CD-ROMs are not mandatory; they will not be judged. Photos/VHS/DVD/CD-ROMs may be used for promotional purposes. Photos/VHS/DVD/CD-ROMs must be mailed and clearly labeled with your name and address. Send via first-class mail to: Women’s Sports Foundation, c/o GoGirlGo! Ambassador Team Awards, Eisenhower Park, 1899 Hempstead Turnpike, Suite 400, East Meadow, NY 11554. Entries must be received by July 17, 2009. Limit one (1) entry per team. Entries will NOT be accepted facsimile. Entries must be original, truthful, created solely by the submitting entrant, unpublished, may not have been submitted in any other competition, and cannot infringe upon any rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark and rights of privacy or publicity.

3. JUDGING: All eligible entries will be judged by a panel of judges who have expertise in teenagers and mass communications and whose decisions are final and binding in all judging matters relating to this Contest. Projects will be judged on Impact (50%) and Quality and Creativity (50%). You are REQUIRED to submit your response to the following 3 questions, in 750 words or less (in order of importance): 1) How did your team plan, organize and carry-out the project? (Please be specific) 2) What did your team and the girls in your community take away from participating in your project? 3) Why did your team choose to do this project and what makes it unique? Ties will be broken by cumulative points awarded for the Quality of the project. If tie cannot be broken, tied entries will be evaluated by a new judge according to original criteria, and the tied entry with highest cumulative score by new judge will be declared a winner. Winners will be notified via mail by September 8, 2009.

4. PRIZES: Grand Prizes: Twenty (20) teams will be awarded $2,500 each. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of all prizes: $50,000. Team awards are to be used for equipment, apparel, travel or training costs for the team. Prizes will be made payable to the school, nonprofit institution or 501(c) (3) organization. Proof of nonprofit status and/or 501(c) (3) status is required.

5. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Entrant (including any participants of entrant’s programming) and/or entrant’s parent/legal guardian agree (a) that Sponsor, The Gatorade Company, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliated companies and advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and are released and shall be held harmless by entrant and/or entrant’s parent/legal guardian, from any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, to person(s), including death, or property, or rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Contest or in any Contest related activity, and (b) winner and/or winner’s parent/legal guardian, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grant permission for Sponsor (and agree to confirm such agreement in writing) and those acting pursuant to Sponsor’s authority to use the winner’s name, photograph, voice and/or likeness and prize information/entry for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, at any times or time, in all media now known or hereafter discovered world wide and on the Internet and/or World Wide Web without notice or review or approval. Winner and/or winners’ parent/legal guardian may be required to complete, sign and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, and a publicity release, where lawful. If affidavits/releases are not returned within seven (7) days of date on notification, or a winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. Taxes on prize are solely the responsibility of the winner and/or winner’s parent/legal guardian.

6. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Neither Sponsor, The Gatorade Company nor their respective agencies are responsible for lost, late, misdirected, unintelligible, illegible, stolen, returned, postage due or undelivered entries; or other errors of any kind whether human or mechanical. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Contest, as solely determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified. Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by unauthorized human intervention or other causes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest, and select the winners from entries received. IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR,THE GATORADE COMPANY, THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENT, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, THEIR RESPECTIVE ADVERTISING OR PROMOTION AGENCIES OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS, BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE WEB SITE OR DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM WWW.GOGIRLWORLD.ORG/AMBASSADOR. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THE WEB SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NONINFRINGEMENT.
