Have you ever noticed that there’s less equipment, fewer teams, inferior facilities or less time dedicated to girls sports at your school? Or are girls’ games scheduled at different times so they won’t compete with other “primetime” games or “more popular” sports? A recent survey by the WNBA and Seventeen Magazine revealed that 35% of girls say their teams don’t get as much equipment or field time as the boys’ teams.

The simple fact is girls have the same rights as boys when it comes to sports at school. If you don’t think girls are getting fair opportunities, there’s something you can do about it because it might be against the law.
